Excellant web sight, I remember many of the Marines as I was stationed at NAS So. Wemouth as a Bulk Fuelman 1391, refueling the Huey's and A-4's from 1981 to 1986 then transfering to Bldg 81 Eng/MT on FTS 86-90,back to MWSS-473 90-94 and MASS-6, 94 to retirement. Thanks for the memories.

Good job on the web site. You will need to scroll down this guest book to get to the real comments. There's a bunch of crap between this message and the true comments. Served with HML-771 from 1975-1982 than went ative for eight years (Flight Line and Phase Crew)Crewed for a number of years

Hi Everyone,A few answers to a few comments. Fort Carson ATD was either '76 or '77. I crewed a Huey from SoWey to Colorado. 24 hours of flight time. We were barred from the E-Club after destroying it. A pretty good time. Jimmy Fong hi. You were in QA when I was at SoWey. MacIntosh was the active duty counterpart. Where are they NOW: COL Elliot "Slick" KATZ (former SSGT with HML-771)returned back to active duty and has held a number of command positions. In 1997 COL Katz was the Commanding Officer of MAL-36, and in that year MAL-36 won the MALS Unit of the Year. COL Katz is presently assigned to the DLA. Best of Luck "Slick" P.S. Wher are they NOW. SGTMAJ Thomas "Scooter" Howard MAG-49 Det A (Flight Line) is now the SGTMAJ of 4th FSSG, Marine Reserve Forces, New Orleans LA. Tom was one of the great one. Even though he was an active duty gy he always was a reservist at heart. LOL Good Luck "Scooter".
